Description:

The Wilmington Railroad Museum chronicles the development of railroads through an extensive collection of photographs and artifacts ranging from a 150-ton locomotive to a four-ounce timepiece. It is located next to the waterfront in downtown historic Wilmington. In addition to its exhibits, this kid-friendly museum gives visitors the chance to climb aboard a steam locomotive and a bright red caboose or play in the Thomas the Train play area and watch model trains run through miniature towns.

Open Apr - Sep: Mon. - Sat., 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Sun., 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Oct - Mar: Mon. - Sat., 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Closed Sun.

Admission Details:

Adults $6; Seniors and Military $5; Children 2-12 $3.
