Dedicated to the history, science and cultures of southeastern North Carolina, museum exhibits include a model of the 1863 Wilmington waterfront, a diorama of the historic battle at Fort Fisher, and displays describing the region’s ecology. Changing exhibits delve deeper, featuring anything from the region’s crafts to its wildlife. It is located in downtown Wilmington.
